Maree's Blog / Follow the Story of This Very Special Wedding Day
Jackie and Nick are Ex Pats who have recently returned home to get married, settle down and raise a family. I teased you a couple of weeks ago with some shots of Jackie (our Brides) gown at the abandoned Hobsonville Air Base. As I work through their wedding post production I’m going to do regular blog showing you the different aspects of their day and some of the stunning imagery that so well reflects their love and commitment to each other. These images are of Jackie and the girls just after they’d gotten ready.
Jackie and Nick wisely choose to have their portrait shoot done prior to the ceremony so that they had the time and have them taken at a location of significance to them. This is a fantastic way to limit the time you have away from your guests after the ceremony and allows you more time to get the shots you want so this is an excellent option to consider. A lot of Brides don’t like this idea as they look forward to the aisle entrance with the Groom seeing them for the first time. At Maree T Photography we always make sure we create an environment that reproduces the aisle entrance so the Bride still gets her WOW moment. Here the boys were behind a boat shed at the end of the jetty.
Jackie and Nick also choose the premium creative package and they particularly love the vintage feel so some of these images as you will see have been produced along these lines.
